Come and enjoy an afternoon of poetry, prose, short stories and art over refreshments and tea with author, Maquita Donyel Irvin and artist, J'Nell Jordan, at the book signing for "Stories of a Polished Pistil: Unpaved".
"Stories of a Polished Pistil: Unpaved" is the second poetry book of a series. It covers love and loss, celebrates relationships, uninhibited honesty, sensuality and femininity, and challenges the word "perfection" as it relates to the woman's mind, body and experience. Tickets includes a signed copy of the book and an opportunity to purchase a limited edition print of the original cover artwork inspired by the book. Rally prizes include a large framed piece of the artwork and signed framed poems performed by the author herself.
